It would interesting, but I think they'd be about as successful in game as they were in real life against bombers.  It's not like Ta-dan's can be re-purposed in game and used to bomb ground targets as they were phosphorus bombs.

Almost every weapon in the game is more effective than its real-world counterpart, for multiple reasons, so who knows?

The problem with the Ta-dans is that they were phosphorus bombs and would be totally ineffective in game unless the damage effect from phosphorus bombs were also modeled.

Not alot of targets for the parafrags either..truck convoys maybe?  We don't have dispersed aircraft on fields.  I imagine trying to
hit a moving M3 or 251, heck any of the open top gvs would be a bear.

True, I didn't consider that.

And now come to think of it I'm not sure if any of the Japanese planes we have in the game now even used them. Maybe the Ki-84...

Ok so the Ki-43 and Ki-44 then the Ta-dan bombs

As the ordnance gets bigger, that skewing goes the other direction.

Come in low over a town with--I don't know how many an A-20 might hold--and just lay waste. I'd like that yeah. :D
