Laugh all you want. That isnt abuse. A kick to someones humility maybe but not abuse. People like you a very quick to judge on a subject you dont know very much about. Did you ever stick one toe in Iraqi sand? Did you ever handle enemy combatants and/or been to a holding facility? Have you seen what those people were capable of doing to coalition forces let alone their own people? Probably not. Myself and others in this forum have. So next time before you start with the bleeding heart routine, check your facts.

Now, that being said, lets get this thread back in the intended direction.

Don't know why you guys are falling for it.  ;)

Not everything is a troll. Coombz's personal political views are well-documented and the point he is trying to make is in line with those views.

We see his point...He may want to invest in a hat.

 :rofl

That word doesn't mean what you think it means  :old:

People like you a very quick to judge on a subject you dont know very much about.

Actually I've read quite a lot about the psychological effects on people placed in positions of being both a guard and a prisoner, and the Abu Ghraib shenanigans in particular. It might appease you slightly to know that I don't think of those soldiers responsible for the abuse as being especially worthy of condemnation.

Have you seen what those people were capable of doing to coalition forces let alone their own people?

So now we're onto two wrongs making a right? I thought you were supposed to be the good guys, not sinking to their level. Instead of winning hearts and minds, attitudes like yours just prove that all people are just as scummy as each other, when given the opportunity.

Now, that being said, lets get this thread back in the intended direction.

Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

To quote an Aussie general on a radio interview:

If treatment of an Al Qaeda prisoner results in a grain of information that saves one of my young soldiers from being maimed or killed I need to know three facts.

Which is the negative electrode

Well they don't recognise 'AQ' in terms of their organisation. NATO recognise it as nothing more than a recognisable moniker to describe organised Islamic Fundamentalist terrorist groups. Whether it be Taliban, Al Qaeda, Fedajheen, they are a significant threat. They don't kill chavvy recidivist dole grabbers who spend most of their time in cells, Greggs, or the dole queue. They kill men and women on their way to work. Often, they are the same men and women that pay taxes to support these 'freedom fighters' in their otherwise jobless, weak minded, copulative little lives.
