wow! sounds like the gunfighters saw a LOT of action. thankfully, our resourceful network of underground agents were able to get all of their survivors back to friendly territory.

we're gonna do our best to make frame 2 even more fun.  :aok

we were engaged as soon as we left the no fly zone until it all ended just west of 63.  what remained of VF-17 toyed with what I assume were the 63 defenders for a few minutes before accidentally running into the 63 strike and following them home.

i was in the bomber group you were escorting. you didn't look all too bored to me.  :devil

also, look at it this way. when bombing targets, boring can be a good thing. the group you escorted devastated their target, and landed with zero losses. in part, that is thanks to you and the rest of the fighters up there watching over us, as we knew for fact that we could man our bomb sights, and not worry about enemy fighters getting to us.

 thanks for the cover sir!
O this is so far from why i do fso's though,i don't play games for no fighting.
Don't get me wrong i understand this happens, but was by no means a success for an fso for me.
I would much rather you guys get to get to target and sit in your tubes knowing your safe cause I'm killing things not because it was a waste land with just us.WTG though buffs on your drops.

yea, i understand that. it seems as if the axis concentrated on defending deep targets....or possibly those units tasked with coming up to the area where we flew, may have stumbled upon one of the deep strike packages enroute.

generally, when i leave an fso from an early death, and go to one of the ma's, i tend to die quite a few grisly cartoon deaths.  :bolt: :neener:

If you knew what was waiting for you in Munich, you would probably avoid coming this week also...
