AI Flight Model
« on: August 04, 2012, 11:42:27 AM »
What an incredible job on the AI makeover!  They do everything they can to get you off of their 6, likewise they are quite hard to shake once they get behind you.
Not only that, the AI now take the fight to the vertical, instead of hugging the ground.
I need to practice more now, so I can get to the end of my own missions, lol.
Can't wait to get back into the game.  I feel my skills (as little as I have) will be sharpened, because of this update.

Come on over to the "Staged Missions" forum here:

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/board,410.0.html

You will find mission collections from 100Coogan, USRanger, and me (and some others too) with detailed instructions to get you started.

The single player style stuff? I could never get it to work. :(
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

So far I've tried two of bbosen's staged missions, "Peabody Simple", and PacMix01. I can get them to start, and run, but I get a white screen and a windows error message after I have engaged the enemy. I'll try some different ones today and see if I get the same results.

Did they fix the "invisible" planes?

I fought some AI planes and started to get pinged by something that wasn't there. You could see the tracers but not the AI plane... :O
