Many new players are entering AH, and I think they should be aware that your views can be adjusted and set. This is not only handy, but down right necessary. Without adjusting your rear(6)view, you can't see much behind ou.
To adjust your views, follow this example of setting and saving your 6 view.
First- get in your plane of choice, I prefer sitting on the runway with engine off. Hold the view you want to set. In this case, the 6 view. While holding that view, use your keyboard "page up" and "page down" to move your "head" up and down. Set it all the way up.
Second - While still holding the view, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move your "head" forward and aft. Move your head all the way foward.
Third - While still holding this view, hit the F10 key. This will "save" the head position setting from that time forward on that airplane.
These steps can be repeated for each view. You will need to adjust the views for each plane, but once you have them set, and saved, they will stay that way for subsequent logins to AH.
I recommend you not adjust your forward view, or if you do be very careful, as this will change your perspective through the gunsight and can throw off your aim.
Good luck, good hunting, welcome to AH.
