That was awful.

Real song, it became popular on the internet because of how bad it was, and because it was some 14 year old girl trying to become famous by paying her way into fame. (Her parents spent like 10k for the video/song to be written, produced, filmed, etc)

The back story is great. Costs like $3K to get a vanity song written and a video made. This was the girl's birthday present, and then the song takes off on Youtube, and actually did OK on iTunes. The profit to the family was 50K at least thru Youtube, and I imagine the studio did pretty good off off the songwriting royalties..
