One of the officers that was killed was a close friend of our family.  He and my sister are good friends from HS and my Aunt babysat his little one when he was on dayshift.  Please keep the families and firends of all who were involved in your thoughts and prayers as they are greatly needed at this time.  Rest in peace Officers Jeremy Triche and Brandon Nielson.

A fund for families of the 2 fallen and 2 wounded officers has been started.  If anyone would like to donate please follow the link.   :salute

absolutely atrocious that this POS ambushes and kills two officers doing their job and answering a call.  My younger brother is a deputy in Jefferson Parish just outside New Orleans.  I pray every night that his guardian angels never leave while he is on the job.    :salute   :pray
