forum error?

Is anyone else receiving any forum compression errors combined with the fact that the forum is displaying the raw code? This is the error.

Content Encoding Error. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression

I'm receiving it with IE, Firefox, and Chrome.

That is a good one.  It means your browsers have lost the ability to do with compressed data streams via the HTTP protocol.  I cannot imagine how that could happen, unless the DLL that deals with it has been replaced by something that cannot deal with it.  Maybe the DLL is corrupt and cannot be loaded?  Maybe the phase of the Moon has altered your reality?

Children tend to warp my reality, I've found.  Maybe my 18 month old is responsible?

Jokes aside, any idea how I should go about fixing it? The problem is intermittent but annoying none the less.

Windows over time becomes corrupted. Its just what happens. A refresh install will fix it without having to format.

I would agree.  Time for a repair install of the OS.

I'll make sure my data is backed up and I'll format my machine this weekend, I'd much rather format it than suffer through a repair install and not entirely fix the problem.

Besides, I'm running on the same OS install since 8/13/2010, so I'm way overdue. I remember the times I'd do it once a year, but hobbies tend to die quick deaths once you settle down.
