Well, maybe not old, but definitely prematurely grey.

I went to get a haircut today and watched little white hairs come down along with my regular hair. It runs in the family, my dad was mostly grey by 20 (but he still has all his hair and he's 61)

Maybe it can work to my advantage with the older women.

Still, it's a little bit sobering. I'm getting old(er).

if that bothers ya, wait'll you start seeing clumps of hair in the shower drain.

Dont worry Tupac, youre not alone.

If you have studyed German, you know there are two types of "you": du and Sie. We got the same stuff in hungarian.
Three weeks ago i was holding a camp for a folk dance group, as a musician. At the first dinner, a 17 y.o. pretty girl came to me with a trayful of cookie and asked: Wünchen Sie...? I asked her, what she thought, how old i am, why she said "Sie" instead of "du"? She said, 35... just guess my melt down face, im 21 dangit... and i was freshly shaved that evening, no bristle or anything.

When this happens, you know that you are getting older.

Kids are terrible at guessing ages more than a couple of years older than themselves.  "Sie" is always the courteous way out in public.  I was afraid as an 18 year old visitor in Germany to use "du" except with those my own age and younger out of sheer over-active courtesy.  Other people's parents were always "Sie" as well as people I had just met.  She was probably just being overly courteous.  In some states here in the US 17 is still "jailbait"...steer clear.    :old:

Hey Geezer, 17 and 21 is usually considered to as about the same age and we always use "du" amongst us.
She wasnt the first one thinking i am 30+. Its a fact that i look way too old for being 21... long hair, little beard under my mouth... also the 2 years of alcoholism left its trace on me.
Just was shocking that a hottie said "Sie" for the first time... you know, that hurts badly. Made me rethink what i thought about my life.

Two things made me realize time was passing.  The sign at the convenience store saying you have to be born before this date in order
to buy tobacco products used a date 4 years after I graduated high school.  Then all the music I listened to in high school all of a sudden
became "Classic Rock"...what the heck?  :lol

My arm hair is about 1/4 white - it was brown at the beginning of the year.

I've felt alot older lately, too. I guess I've done some growing up the last few months.

Bah! What's the point using one's hormones for growing hair on the head? I know a much nicer way to use them... And a 5 blade Gillette is the way to avoid nasty barbers. A nice tan instead of a variety of greys.

I have a couple of white hair pioneering on my chest, easy yet to handle with a tight grip and pull...

A longgg time from now, ten years lets say, you will be 27 and in your physical prime.  You will think wayyy back to 10 years ago, a time you can hardly remember, when you thought you were "getting old". You will have yourself a good chuckle about the naivity of it all, then continue on with your business.

I knew guys in college that were bald by 21.  Not completely but the top was history.

I am happy to still have hair.  Mine is salt & pepper but still mostly dark.  I do have a goatee but it is 95% gray.

I have a pretty cool Lt General "Gloomy Pete" Longstreet look going.

:rofl Let me tell you about getting old. I just got glasses for the first time in my life a few weeks ago...bifocals no less and I have a cataract on my right eye. I get up 2 or 3 times a night to pee and I'm getting to the point where sex is more trouble then it's worth. I'm starting to feel like Al Bundy. :frown:
My aches and pains are a everyday thing too. I pulled a muscle in my arm during a fight with the boy down the street (he's mid 30s), and I'm still sore from that. I handed him a good ole country arse whippin', but I walked away feeling like I was the one that got whipped.
I haven't drank any booze in ages as I just don't like the feeling of being buzzed anymore and I always feel like crap the next day. I used to drink every night and go to work the next day. I wouldn't even try that now.  :(
My coworkers call me "old man" or "dad". Yesterday one guy told me I needed a "update"...whatever the hell that means.  :furious
I can't remember the last time I went to bed after 10 o'clock. I'm usually in bed by 8...9 at the lastest.
Everyday at work we listen to the oldies channel on the radio. Several of the songs I remember playing in high school band.  :bhead

jez Uptown shut the hel up your making me depressed, can't you take some ageles male or something?
