You can't argue with the numbers, untill those "new rappers" start making some money they don't exist in mainstream rap. It's almost impossible to be an indie raper, a few people have had moderate success, immortal technique, tech n9ne, Everlast, but if you're not brought up by big name in the industry I.E. Dr dre you won't get anywhere. Talent alone won't do it for you like it does in other genres.
