shuffler the only arcade thing about it is using your mouse and pointing and clicking on tanks and hoping you hit them

you missed out! the Winter Sky, Death Ground scenario in April/May had the most intense tank battle i've ever experienced in frame 3. tanks by the dozens were running almost parralel to each other along a river, until we reached a massive city strat, launching some very fast-paced urban combat. this game has some great moments

...and hardly no GV'ers participated.

my only point is that the terrains  and the tanks alone the inside of the tanks would have to be done up by Htc I'm not saying set it up like they have it in wot  just saying look at the arenas texture
and the tanks not the game play

Aces HIGH.... planes are first :)

shuffler is 100% correct, GVing is just a distraction. The ground is something to crash into IMHO.

Well the tank selection is larger than AH but you have't grind  hours and, *yawn* and hours to ever get to use the higher tiers.

I like playing both games, and yes I just said games. Each have something to them that I enjoy, and something i dislike.

WoT positives: Equal tank numbers at start of battle. Destroyable terrain objects. Maps that swtich with every new battle.
(played mech warrior) So i like the upgrades to tanks. Messing around with comrades in tank companies. And i thought i was drunk! :devil

oh and its free, but takes longer to upgrade, and other crap you cant do.

Negatives: Tanks that disapear right infront of you and kill you. Shooting through buildings. Arcadey tanks sights. Tier tree that makes up the random battles. having to use the keyboard controls. Aim bot Arty.

Aces Low
Positives: Defending a base from a large scaled attack. Alittle spawn camping can be fun. Braking spawn camps.PT boat wars very funny.
Attacking a V-base when someones home. (Map ndisles)? one with 3 spawns and town in the middle.

Negatives:(guilty of this) bomb****ing. Long arse gv spawns drives. too much spawn camping, it get's boring to me after shooting the same guy 30 times as he spawns in. Others live for the spawn camp. Talking crap on 200 when spawncamping. Leave 200 to the flyboys. :D Trees and mounds flipping tanks. :rolleyes:Having to now use the keyboard/stick mapping. <-- liked the old style.

Anyways feel free to add.

Grind is ridiculously long to any tier 10 (unless you pay). Some tanks are just complete and utter crap that you have to play through. It's fun if you do one or two battles a day, but after that, it gets boring really quick. But then at that rate, it would take a year just to finish one Tier 10 line. Casual gamers are pretty much boned. Unless you somehow enjoy driving tractors with cannons (literally). I'm just glad a friend let me use his account that had high tier tanks and a premium tank to make money. Otherwise, I don't see how anyone can endure the grind that this game requires.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Those aren't "lowered" prices....those are package deals. SMH. They change out the packages every month, and you don't have to pay for those to play.

That normally take half an hour to get to and therein lies a problem.

It's actually why I stopped GVing all together. I was either in a spawn camped position, driving half my time there only to get killed by a camper etc.
then i must say grow some patience because WSDG was the most fun in a GV ive ever had. commanding the Panzer Lehr for that scenario was more of an honor to work with the players i did than i got killz on shermans :lol though the city fight was damn just plain awesome in general :aok

WoT is good gv wise...the grind is not so bad and the battles are more intense... no spawn camping there... it is a hit or miss for some....IMO to each their own, I suppose...

It seems all the people who can't find fun in the game are the first to complain.

It's fun if you can last through the grind to the T9 or T10 tanks. Yes, there are some low tier tanks that are fun (Stug, Kv-1, Easy8) but unless you want to drive those tanks forever, youre gonna have to put up with the crappy tanks in a tech tree. It's easily fun if you don't have to worry about getting into a match where you can't even damage a tank on the other side, or where you don't have to worry about going bankrupt when you play a high tier tank.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.
