bombs have damage limitations. give a box of supplies in a halftrack similar limitations and reduced range.

let the work to rebuild being done be proportionate.

ie the supplies can still affect everything in range but if they resupply multiple objects then the effect is spread out and less effective than if the supply box only affected 1 object.

There is a real problem with strats now. I dont know how they current system was worked out but the strats themselves take forever to resupply. If it stays like this then the goons need to be able to rearm field supps at least! Currently the bomber stats of anyone resupplying will be destroyed by resupplying. No one resupplies and frankly I wont continue unless the goons can rearm.

resupply is actually one of the worst aspects of the game especially concerning strat targets. the players resupplying are almost never in contact with the enemy and contribute nothing to the fight beyond changing the mathematical dynamic and minimizing the effectiveness of attacking strategic targets often to the point that the bombers will not bother to hit said targets.

personally I think no strategic factory or instalation should be resuppliable. it adds nothing to the game and discourages bombers from bothering to hit strat targets. even the defenders are often to lazy to attack the bombers hitting strat targets and prefer to milk run strat with resupply after they leave.

resupply of bases is already so powerful to be on the point of game breaking but at least there is a remote chance of a c47 or m3 resupplying a base being shot at. but 75% of the time they are not even seen either.

resupplying factories, city and HQ should be removed.

 :headscratch:  I think it was Saturday night I was running supplies between an airfield and a Vbase.  It took 4-5 trips into each in an M3 to get destroyed objects back up.  Of course as soon as they were up they went back down and the cycle continued.  I must have spent hours just running sups.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Are you crying?  There is no crying in Aces High!!!  Unless you're valdal, that is.   :D  Stats or game play, THAT is the question.   :lol   You're going to quit if goons can't re-arm?  That must be a stat thing again.   :headscratch:

Yes Im sure in your world thats what that means. No what I said was (saying it in another way) that after running supplies 75 times I can see the affect it has on the factories is minimal and that very few people will even do it. HQ is another matter but when it comes to factories the goons either need to be able te rearm or make much fewer runs. This is where I disagree with the OP. I wont be running supplies the way it is because the goons cannot rearm supps and it is a waste of time. Plus... score potatos will never run supps because of what it does to their rank and score.
