Fi 156 rudder bug

While flying an Fi 156, a jeep shot off my rudder.  While flying, trying to move the rudder (A and D) did not do anything, as expected.  However if I jumped to the rear gunner position, I could use A and D to move the non-existent rudder and the plane reacted as if it still had a rudder.

Rudder input from a gunner position uses the ailerons to put the plane in a bank.
