the explosives used in the mk82 500lber since the 60's seems to look like the WWII version packed about the same punch.

the speed retarder fins from the video above dropped as low as the F100 in the above picture are impressive when you
are on the ground a few hundred feet from the impact point, they pass just a few hundred feet over your head looking
like a little kids play jacks tumbling towards you. The blastwave that close feels like someone jumping on your chest.
In AHII if they tried to duplicate the blast potential of the WWII version, a hit just feet away from a Panzer or M4 would
probably send you flipping thru the air before you ended up back in the tower.
