I was kinda mad that personal were not reporting teh damage right
so i mad e up this form for all pilots usage.
please fil it in and report all damage.

instructins to use are this;
#1 put your name on the left side
#2 put the kind of bomer you did you bomber mishin in
#3 make an x if you hit any strategic bildings
#4 make an x if you missed any strategic bildings
dont make two xs tho. it will get confusing so only make 1 x
#5 if you hit the radar tower make an x here. on #5 i mean
  Captin Oddball

HamHawk,
Exclent report and WTG on the bomb run tonage. i turned the
contraster thing on my moniter way down and cud reed the
numbers real easy. :salute
christian, its easy to sea that HamHawk was able to fill out
the form right and he had an x in the target area and also
had an x in the yes line. i would like him to be promoted
too Bomer Comand Officer. He would be lower than you tho.
Some of the guys wnat to do night bomer raids but they
can only fly after school when its still lite out. I found
an exllant wauy to do this and evn tried it with my squad
First, everyone takesoff with there lancsters (100 percent
fuel in casse we have to evade.) Then when we are pointed
at the strategic area, everyone turns off there moniter and
you get instint night! It rules. Of course, as the leder of the
formation, i keep mine on tho.
wehn the bomers are over the target i yell out 'drop the
boms now!' and so everyone drops there boms then.
Oonce the boms are dropped i let everyone turn there
moniters back on this is like we dropped night flares
(were only pretending tho there arent any flares)
and thenwe land an get 'name in lights' and
record the points.
another grate idea is that we are going to do lvts
from a fleet. the go 10 miles in an hour so it wood only
take 7 hours to get ther. Then if we drive 2 more
hours we can attack it with the lvts. let me know.
ps; i saw this grate movie called 'zulu' the other day
and the best soldjer was called 'coler sargent'. our
bomer campane doesnt have one so if its oky with
you. ill be that guy.

you and HamHawk will remane above me tho!

Rolled B-26s on rook strat last night. Took 12x 250lbs (perhaps not enough in hindsight? Not sure). Hit ack and city from a SW-to-NE vector. Salvoed 1, dropped 6 bombs on each target. Received good hits on ack, only 2 hits on city. Not sure if it just needs more ord per block or what. Egressed with dar popping up around me. Ended up in a tail chase dragging a VERY persistent Me410 and a ta152 and something else (only saw it on radar) chase me about 3-4 sectors until I managed to "shoot down" the me410 inside some cv ack on the deck. He was so determined he had made probably half a dozen very close passes, tried the BK5, tried the WGR rockets, and then just came in with 20mms blazing. I landed hits but the CV ack really got him. I don't blame him. When you're in 410s you just see blood in the water and start drooling. Managed to sneak another sector away from the action and land safely.

Not sure what this means with tonnage dropped, but I got about 4900 points of bomb damage when I landed.

250lb bombs are perfect for the City, as 3 of them are just over the rquired amount of damage rating to kill one city block.
For the factories it's much less than perfect due to it's relatively small damage radius.

Bombs:

250lbs and smaller - City
500lbs - multi purpose, but not very efficient for either target. Good choice to finish off remaining buildings on an already very much destroyed factory
1000lbs - much better for factories than smaller bombs, best bom if factory has already been hit / still multi purpose if you are flying exactly down a City "lane" and kill two adjacent blocks with each drop
2000 & 4000lbs - Factory, dropping them on City is a waste

And after 63 strat runs in the current month I'm just short of 1000 tons now  :joystick:

B-26 Raid on Rook Stat 9/27

3 aircraft 4x1000lb Bombs

9:25 Take off
9:27 Flight lead destroyed when struck tree
9:28 Now 2 plane formation continuing on mission.
9:35 First ridge to climb successful no Bardar shows
9:43 2nd ridge successfully climbed no bardar.
9:57Rook starts begin flashing Start climb
10.03 Flying directly over AAA tower notice train behind AAA tower(who put that there?!?!?)
10:05 Over AAA tower taking fire from Tower and stationary train
10:06 Bombs out good hits, break to port diving.
10:08 out of range of tower and train no sight of last drone, both engines hit and leaking oil left main fuel tank leaking top turret out of commission, left gear damaged. Shut down engine 1 to save oil,
switch to left main fuel to use what doesn't leak. Notice drone closing Fromm 7 o'clock position also smoking from left engine(engine turns out to be damaged and shut down)
10:12 Climbing back up ridge original flown over on way in difficult due to loss of engine 1.
10:17 Left main fuel empty switch to right main.Notice bardar of enemy in sector I just left(possibly over rook strats)
10:23 Lead plane has no oil left, bailed as another ridge approaching.
10:28 clear last ridge begin decent to friendly base.
10:31 Call in Squadmate to escort in but cancel call as enemy bardar disappears(possibly thought I was Bish)
10:40 Land Last plane successfully

Enemy AAA strat reduced from 100% down to 81%
Entire flight flown NOE except climbing over enemy strat no darbar shown to give away my flights location during entire flight, radar zones avoided completely.

Note: I have noticed on all maps there is always a Dar free corridor to be exploited when attacking en my starts.
