...unless of course you are that good and can land 70 or 80 bomber kills at 30k.  if you really want a tactical ability then push for the removal of the rearm pad so people like you wont just fly around in a 262 picking people off by the dozens or maybe limit it to 1 or 2 rearm times...

semp

so those 9 b29s, tons of b17s and b24s over the city I killed at 30-32k were at 300ft?  :headscratch: and I have yet to rearm more than twice this tour. 10 kills is an average haul for me. i have enough ammo for twice that and am limited by fuel most often. nice troll.

What ever happen to that squad called... The Few - they used to be pretty good, I guess the muppets are back on top at #1. Pretty sure Midway is busy cutting out all the photos of Bruv from his photo album.

Its a shame I thought they were #1.

your stats fester: the bomber deaths shown are for only med or heavy bombers like b26, lancs, b29.  I didnt include b25 as those arent regularly take to the strats that often.  arent included in your deaths either.  these are only 262 kills are not 100% accurate as I just did some quick addition, but it gives you an idea.

total kills                     bombers                                   times died in bomber
sept                347                             139                                                0 (ranked 0)
aug                 274                               96                                                0(ranked 0)
jul                   517                              130                                               6(ranked 2)
jun                     49                               17                                               0 (ranked 6)
may                  80                               58                                                2 (ranked 4)

as you can see  you love the new change.  but you arent taken advantage of it as you haven even flown bombers yet in past 2 tours.  which you forgot the biggest push for you was to actually do something to change the game, but all it did for you is give you more bombers to kill :).  you maybe killing a lot of bombers but I bet they arent all at the strats :).

and based on your number of deaths when you fly bombers you are one of the guys that really avoid fighting.  unless of course the stats page are wrong again.

While we're on the subject, should factory structures be worth fundamentally more than town structures?

For example, I fly forever to the bad guys' strats, manage my fuel, pick my way through gaps, watch for dar bars, and the reward in perkie terms is all but nil, not why I do it in the first place.

On the other hand, I went on a "siren tour" of nit town just behind the lines. Took 50% fuel, 4X500, was up and over targets lickety split, bing bing bing bing, race home, easy-peasy. (Felt pretty dirty, to tell the truth.) Damage in lights was about 10 times what I cause over the strats, for really very little effort at all.

Oh, and HQ is still a very quick rebuild with goons.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

thats more than the guy that spent 2 hours to fly to your city and bomb it got to give you the chance to farm free non combat bomber/gv perks.

agreed, 3.75 perks still seems way too much to me for a milk run. even the previous ?1.8 perks seemed pretty generous.

Perks or no perks the recent change sure made people more aware of the resupply option for fields. I see a lot more m3s now than I ever have before and the city resupply option is great.  :salute

However, this does shove the pendulum back in favor of earning perk points the old fashioned way:  via combat.   :aok

I'd be happy about that if more people SPENT perks in combat. However, the way most of the people who are always seen in perk rides play cannot IMO be truthfully called "combat".

Measly perk points? You are kidding me!

3.75 perk points for just 5 minutes of m3 driving or, in case of the strats 6-8 minutes of goon flying is still way more than the average player does make in combat. You must be pretty good to earn bomber or GV perks at a rate of 28 - 45 perks per hour by flying true combat missions.
It's still easy perks, just no "get a King Tiger in 4 M3 runs" any more. This was way out of balance and making the perk point system a farce.

And on top of that, the m3 runs are also still encouraged by the huge effect they have on towns. I have easily saved a lot of towns by running supps instead of fighting the enemy. On serveral instances I would have had a hard time saving the base by combat, but running just two m3s turned a hard contested battle into a piece of cake for the defenders...
When was the perk point system not a farce?
