Kills of chutes

Apparently since last version, shooting chutes suddenly give you legit kills again, which didn't happen since year 2000. See plane stats.

i had a power outage for about and hour that happened while I was flying and fighting against some noob p51 that was about to be an easy kill.
when I came back online it said ai had bailed out of my plane.

I checked my stats and had no kills on my plane but I had a kill against my chute that the ai bailed in.

this might explain how I got 2 kills awarded on the same P38 coupla weeks ago: one for the bail, one for the chute?  :headscratch:

(I dont shoot chutes but if he bailed while I was dismantling his 38 with 20mms its possible?)
