This means your last flight ended with a DISCO (disconnect), and you haven't been back in the arena within 5 minutes. Because that's the max span of time the AI will continue to fly your plane / drive your tank for you.

You should get that if you've logged back on after a disco. What happens is if you disco from the game an AI plane pops into the spot you were at when that happened and flies a straight path in a shallow climb. You have about 5 minutes to log back in and if you make it in time you can rejoin the plane and not have to grab a new one and fly back to where you were. A new feature added a patch or so ago. So relatively new.

You shouldn't get that every time you log in tho. That is unless you aren't logging out and are disco-ing every time.
