found a reference to this in another forum and thought i'd share with ya'll...

from the description all i see is a fancy packet filter that just adds one more device between your system and whatever server you're connecting to...and for some people there are a lot of points along the route. i suppose if you have a standard 5mbps home internet connection and you have other people doing stuff on your network while you're trying to game, it might have some benefit but, that's about it.

standalone QOS box, not a bad idea if its really, really easy to set up.

although obviously it only eliminates the lag that you yourself have introduced ....

ya, my router does the same job and i didn't have to spend $220 on it...

dude over at ign did a review on the thing...a little more factual information but, still i'm not rushing out to buy one.
