Mother of god, forced to fly in instrument conditions using instruments! What'll they think of next

Good for providing some decent training. I'm not familiar with whatever event you're at but it's been 7 years since I've touched a Cirrus. The first Avidyne systems were just coming out.
Throw in relatively minor malfunctions as simple distractions they might actually see more often than a worst case scenario. Might I suggest a single alternator failure and how the first response for that should NOT be preparing the chute handle.
