The only problem I have with it so far is the cord between the throttle and stick is only 24" at most.  I usually just leave them connected.

Yes, the cord is a bit short. However, I can still fit my regular size keyboard in between them.

I went from a Saitek ST-290 to the Thrustmaster and it has completely changed the game. It's all plastic though.
