At least one more destroyed tank animation.
« on: September 19, 2012, 01:14:25 AM »
For years now, all that we have for a tank being destroyed is either it vanishes, or the (very nice) turret being blown off.  I am placing a wish for at least one more animated tank death sequence for more variety, or at least just replace the vanishing tank death with some kind of explosion with some pieces flying out in a few directions.  Thanks.   :salute and  :pray

long time smoking GV's should be a part of the battlefield, but I guess laptop players would choke by the fps #'s
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

+1 for new tank death animations..

+1 for ghost wrecks, like craters..

+1 for visible detonations for HE rounds..

Use a decent laptop. I get 256 FPS on mine with Full detail slider in 2nd notch, smooth shadows on 1024. Vsync off of course

You got a bran new laptop then. Mine was $3000 few years ago and barely gets 20 fps in Aces High in tank fights, especially when there's to much smoke or fire.

Think about those whose laptops arn't bran new.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

And with Vsync off, you also have rubber bullets, tearing, and a few other issues.

Just an observation.

I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

Rubber bullets and tearing does happen - but not that often to be that big of a problem (*at least not for me)

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Yes it is brand new. Built by ibuy power about 2 months ago for 1500 dollars.  I wouldnt suggest playing AH on any laptop not designed as a gaming laptop. You can get a decent gaming desktop for around 700
