they'd have to pay me $50 to install Origin on my system

Lol, got a hidden stash of something on your PC that you don't want EA to see?  :lol

Played BF3 since release, never encountered a hacker once. I've encountered bugs and lag, but its not hacks as far as I can tell be cause they all seem to die easy enough.

I haven't bought Premium yet...the $50 price tag is iffy when I could just add another $10 for a brand new game. I also haven't gotten bored of B2K and the original maps but I really want to try out Armor Kill as well.  :(

For sure there are  several hacks involved. Let's take tanks for example. I regularly get killed from a single rpg hits in tanks. Yet it seems to take 3-4 hits to kill the enemy while me or other players take shots at them. Same stuff happens with infantry and lighter weapons, regularly.

I'm not doubting there's hacks or not, I just never encountered one. I've been randomly killed on spawn "bad luck", or killed while in a tank in under a second because I got caught and had multiple shots from different sources hit me in rapid succession. Probably the closest thing to a hack that I've seen was a guy who managed to never die once in a game and had over 50 kills. But I'm not going to say it was hacks because I've done nearly the same thing in a tank and jet. You're nearly invulnerable in a jet if you fly right, the only thing you have to worry about is the AAA Gatling guns.

Strafing is ridiculously easy and most of the pilots in BF3 only know a flat turn. I fly circles around them. And with auto repair in Normal mode, you basically never have to land and repair like in Hardcore.

BF3 looks great but unfortunately the net code is not much better than what was experienced in the horrible beta.

Shots still fail to register on any server with a ping more than 50. Then there's the inconsistency - you can kill noob players who are standing still, shooting in their back with 1 burst real quick. Then the high k/d players who stand still, look away and you shoot a similar burst to their back (or for example aimed shot to the head with sniper) will just jump, turn and kill you with 1 shot without losing much life at all. I'll let you draw the conclusions.

No gun travel/no recoil/no bullet hit shake/high leathality hacks are commonplace in the game. That's the only explanation to why some players are visibly affected when you shoot and hit them and others just return a headshot while being shot full auto hits from a bipod mounted gun.

I take it you never played on a well admin server? Never once i have ran in to that problem

Hacking is severely overstated in BF3. Of course there is some hacking but to listen to the BF3 crowd its like the hack capitol of the world. A well moderated server with balanced teams = a good fight. I have bigger issues with a lack of VOIP and no TrackIR support then hacking. Also EA could care less what their customers want. They are going to make big bucks regardless.

Poor individual play, and/or servers with all the talent on one side usually ends up with a hackfest whinge.

BC2 was a better game. I Loved the Vietnam servers and would love to see a WW2 era game on such an engine.

I've never seen a server yet where the admins would be online let alone do something.

Look for servers that has "Live Admin" in it. I've been in plenty of servers where there were admins, or usually join a server that's run by a platoon, they usually have admins as well. Though I've never seen someone get kicked by an admin for hacking, virtually all were bad language or using a weapon that wasn't allowed.
