I would like to see full out battleship that can be controled by the player.
Imagin 18.1 inch guns of the Bismarck attacking a base

Hmmm, the days of Battlefield 1942, where you blasted tiny men into orbit with a cruiser. And you got to steer the boat too.

Hey, we have the air and ground war covered (well, for the most part),why not add in more depth to naval battles? Fully controllable ships (with perked prices of course), available only on the larger maps (Trinity, ndisle, the last two we just had), and players can use them as they see fit.
All that needs to be changed is the ports spawn points, which shouldn't be too hard. Hell, turn the port's dock into a re arm station for ships. All ships will be fully controllable (except for the CV), with controls just like the PTboat we have now. WASD to move (albeit slowly, the larger the ship, the more time it takes to pull off a maneuver), 1-9 to switch to gun positions on a ship. Good god, do you know how epic it would be to have a naval "furball" or a huge armada sailing to the other country's strats and the massive battle that would follow?
And the best part, airplanes still dominate the arena like they did in real life. If players don't stick with a CVgroup, they'll get torn apart by bombers.
Imagine how a taking of a coastal airfield would play out. You have a group of 20 people in ships (battleships to destroyers) shelling the town and field. You have another 20 guys on the ground trying to take control of the town, the attackers trying to get an M3 in, the defender trying to protect the map room. You have a epictastic furball near the field, trying to protect goons or trying to kill the goons. Then, all of a sudden, the defenders brings in a CV group along with 20 guys in ships. Huge naval battle happens, attackers becomes defenders and vice versa.
OMFG, HTC, make this happen NOW. I want to have a naval furball!!!
