Stall buffet sound file?
« on: December 09, 2012, 11:03:56 PM »
On my 1st install of AH, I replaced the stall horn sound file with a stall buffet sound file.

That install is no more but I was wondering if anyone could point me toward:

1)  The stall buffet sound file
2)  Which folder it needs to go in.

Thanks in advance!

Get Mitsu's soundpack, there is awesome buffet and a much more subtle stallhorn.

As to your original question, stall.wave and buffet.wav are in the root of: C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High\sounds

The Spartans do not enquire how many the enemy are but where they are.

....not in a regular download of the game. All game sounds are in a rez file and are not accessible.

The best way to change it is to download a custom pack and drop the "buffet" file into the sounds folder mentioned above and then rename it stall if that is what you looking to do. You don't need to install the whole pack if you don't want to. The game will use the sounds it finds in the sound folder first, if it doesn't then it uses the stock files.
