If America devolves into a Civil War (literally, maybe a 30/70 chance of it) Google analytics will play a key role. Simply put, because of Google analytics people are not being informed of all sides of issues. This is not to say what they are reading is automatically wrong, just they do not understand why those who disagree, disagree.

An example. During the Egyptian affair a gentleman asked several of his friends to do a two step project. First, he asked them to Google "Egypt" then second, take a screen shot and send it to him. He then viewed the screen shots and found widely different information based on his friends personal views. Some showed the overthrow of the President and millions marching, etc. Others talked about tourism and the Pyramids.

This is a problem.

My .02. Get rid of your TV. There is nothing but opinion / satire news and devaluation of morals in 90% of the crap on TV.  About the only thing worth watching is history and science.  If they honestly think people are going to swallow this one they are crazy.

yes the are going to far....but nothing can or will be done about it.
