How do you kill a tiger with a panther

i was also about 50-70 ft above the tiger, on the side of a hill. so his mantel would have been at an angle similar to / and my round would have been arching down, so i think i would hit mantel at almost 90 degrees and his turret at about a 65 degree angle...i made a lame paint drawing lol...thoughts about why 4 turret shots failed to do anything but bounce off.

Easy to see in this video that the panther is more maneuverable, but in the end the tiger gets behind the panther and its all over.

I know I am late to the convo...but

there is no such thing as a "panther" they are ether Jaguars or leopards...unless we are talking about the Florida Panther which is just a cougar.....and there is NO way one of those would be able to kill a Tiger especially a Siberian Tiger they get like 800 lbs they would just eat the "panther" even the Bengal tiger would have the "panther" for lunch.

With the Tigers slow turret traverse it's good to keep moving while attacking, i very seldom see anyone firing while on the run it's a good technique to use on the heavily armored Tanks plus it makes it harder for them to get a good range on you when your not a static target.

I agree with this to some degree, just be very, very, VERY carefull to keep your eyes on where you're driving, so you don't smack into a tree and flip, or run head-long into an enemy tank with the gun to kill you, or otherwise end up unhappy.


Also I would advise using this sparingly and only on lone targets. It doesn't let you dodge shells that are already on an intercept course for the side of your turret, it just makes it harder for the enemy gunners to put a shell on that trajectory. However if enough high-velocity steel is flying around, someone is bound to get lucky.

Easiest way I've killed Tigers and King Tigers is simply flank, if someones near you have them take pop shots to get his attention, with a 34/85, Panther and M18 simply run to get a clear good shot from the side, make use of terrain and be patient.

Most tankers are not, thus why they get killed moving around to much.

Panther is a medium tank, its apples to oranges trying to compare, just use the panthers strengths to tigers weakness, 3 shots is more then enough to kill a Tiger/ before its turret swings around.
