Lynch defiantly dropped a many great riffs back in the day and still does. There is a youtube video (can't find it now) of him just soloing over some recording and doing it so effortlessly... For that era/style (80's Dokken, etc...), in my mind, him and Demartini really stood out from the rest of the guitar players.

I was just looking at a George Lynch signature ESP the other day, nice guitar but I ended up buying an Ibanez semi hollow body.
