Actually, out of curiosity, I tried using my IPad that I jailbreaked with windows 7 installed; I was able to install AH2 and get it to load offline...

Coincendently, I can hold 22Fps with graphics turned down...

Now, I just to find a reasonable method of aircraft control xD

By the way, I don't reccomend doing this with you IPad, I merely tried this out of curiosity and experimental purposes...

how big is the hard drive on your ipad?

Those tablets have 2 small hamsters running in a wheel compared with an Intel I7.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

I'm quite happy with the 2.2ghz average in processing, of course it's still dominated by the sheer power of a I7

On the other hand it makes me quite sad that my PC is barely more powerful than a IPad...

I have a bran new Ipad and Samsung Tablet, neither will run Aces High even with the lowest settings possible.

Aces high works fine on a cheap laptop, given it depends on the video card and ram, as for now tablets simply are not powerful enough.

What might we expect from these Win 8 tablets which are basically laptops with detachable active screens?

low battery life, bulky, heavy and poor construction, and running a crappy OS would be my guess.

thats rather impressive, wonder how much that would improve under XP :headscratch:

NOW - if the wish was for tablet editions of the map editor, cloud editor, or mission editor, or account manager... then we might be able to figure out something. But this was for an outright tablet edition of the game.

They'd have to improve the bloody thing for the PC first... I would love to waste countless hours making terrains, but the damn program crashes more often than a vTard lawn-darts trying to dive-bomb something...

Not saying otherwise, but a wish for a billion of one's national money units is also a valid wish in that context.  hitech posted about the GPU problem is this thread which means that it isn't a doable wish at this time.
ill settle for 1mill in US then buy a round for all AH2 players
