Im not sure where this "LA7 is not good in a stall fight" is coming from. Its damn good in a stall fight. You have to know how to control it because it can fall out from underneath you if you don't know what you're doing. If you can control that, it is an absolute beast.

Im always particularly careful of LA's when I'm in an engagement zone. Get one on your six and they can be particularly difficult to shake off, and the cannons dont help the situation.

Not the most difficult opponent, but not easy either.

Best hope you're in a turny bird...just flat turn them to death.  If you're in a marginal-turning bird and they guy behind you knows what he's doing, you may have mounted a pooch.  German planes can out-roll the LA at slow speeds but they flat turn about the same.  I die alot so I'm probably wrong, lol.

I find that the average level of La7 pilots is even lower than P-51 pilots, and the population of the latter is supposed to be pulled down by two weekers.

If the La7 is perked, people may find out what a monster the La5 can be. Not that many will fly it because it does not win any "most X" performance awards.

The Laffin is a fun plane to fly, and those 2 20mms shred planes like paper.

The la5 is just fine, i say they should put a perk on la7's..just to get all the gutless pilots out of them.

Honestly, how many times do i have to kick a guys arse only to have him re-up in a la7 and CHASE me down over 4 clicks away, common now. Now im low on ammo, or out with engine running at minimal just to get back to base,and i get hit with a x3 20mm 430+ mph at 20 feet off the ground flkying up my six low, because hes a mad baby boy who wants victory for nothing.



Ah well, its good to know  i still rock and sock la7's is my p39.

It just gets so fustrating some time, to know im the better man, but that punk can re-up a god plane and hunt me down. boo it.

Yeah, but really, really liking a plane doesn't change its actual capabilities.  I like the Mossie quite a lot, but I know the La-7 is a much better air-to-air combatant.  P-47s are a fairly even match for the Mossie if the fight is at low altitudes.
