Free-forums are just bad practice, I would happily share some web space to those who are seeking some, especially if it is for their squad. It a much better alternative than leaving your database for hostage with a free-forum host.
I agree crabby--- for our squad I host our own site, forum, and mysql databases. Trust no-one!
