The new Tank Town....

... has obviously been an immediate success. Here is the object usage of last night:

In comparison, the usual monthly average is currently at about 40% GV, 60% planes

It also succeeded in stomping down my own GV k/d down to 25% of it's original value. Well done, Greebo!  :D

Its fun, but a bit of a shooting gallery. When we were spawning out last night it was the usual rush to get off the spawn before you can maneuver which is hard in most American armor. We still had attack planes comming in though. Might take a flight up there and hunt them down sometime  :rock

Some spawns are tougher to run for cover than others and maybe you have noticed that the fields are actually closer than they appear on the clipboard map. You can spawn at that field and take a safer route out to the action with very little driving time. I think everyone's k/d will go down until they adapt. There are more perked rides than we have ever seen before. I have never been killed by so many king tigers that I can remember.  I am really enjoying the new challenges in TT. it will be much more difficult for any country to camp and control a spawn because of the relatively short driving distances between spawns and bases. Base captures in TT is probably the only way you will see spawn camping. Air traffic had been reduced so much that the GV'ers don't fear driving out with a perked ride.

Excellent job Greebo!
