Lots of Disco's

OK I have had lots of discos in the last few weeks and it is getting irritating, I have run a ping plot to the addresses given and I keep gettign Destination address unreachable. Have the IP addys changed .

Currently running to 206.16.60.39 as per this http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,68316.0.html

Let me know if I am inputting te wrong IP.

Yes thats the right one. I just ran mine and it went without a problem.

it probably is mostly due to the inclement weather conditions that has been going on
recently in the Ohio valley and N.E. etc..

Also, it might help if you cycle/reset both your router and your modem... Also check and see
if your router or modem firmware needs updating

That doesn't look all that bad. So you have trouble pinging from the computer, but not the router. That seems to mean your computer isn't talking nice to your router. After rebooting both the router and modem, check it again.

If your still having issues, it may be your network card on your computer. Are you using a separate card, or one that is on-board the motherboard? That might be where your having trouble.

it is an onboard card and I have had no problems with it, I might try to update drivers from website for the card.

Before doing that, why not just let Windows reinstall it? Just remove the card in the Device Manager and reboot, Windows should reinstall it. Just in case something goes wrong, find the motherboard driver disk or download the latest one from the mobo manufacturer's site. The onboard chip's maker may have a newer one, but the mobo maker is a safe bet to get a working driver.

...and you had no problems with the first car you ever bought either..... until ya did  :devil

Stuff happens. if the re-install doesn't work, NIC cards are cheap enough to throw one in.
