Well actually some truth to this.  Asteroid found yesterday that has a chance of hitting us in 2040.   

Who knows how likely to occur as its so far away.  They are saying it will miss us now but a lot can change in 20 years.  They also say one is likely to hit us next year but most of it should break up in the atmosphere.

 Wonder how many near misses have happened in the last 100 years that we knew nothing about. Im sick of hearing about them. No need for more stress in our lives.

2012DA14   -(57m wide)  0.09 LD( lunar distance) not AU !!  feb 15/ 2013 this is going to be well within the orbits of geosynchronous satellites; but won't hit Earth.
