Flu season 2012
« on: December 22, 2012, 10:51:29 PM »
I've just seen this on Fox; http://video.foxnews.com/v/2051724946001/report-flu-season-shaping-up-to-be-worst-in-years/ after 3 days in home this week with strong flu symptoms, fever; I never took a flu shot in my life, always went easy through flu seasons with natural diet immunization bust, but this year is different, worst.
Take the flu shot! :old:

Ugh...  The absolute WORST flu I ever got was after I took a flu shot.  That's the only time I've had it in over 15 years.  I think I'll take my chances.    :uhoh

I've had flu shots for the last 4 or 5 years. Haven't had the flu at all either during that time. Part of it is probably because I'm not around school aged kids who gleefully share every bug known and unknown to mankind.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I get inoculated all year long because my wife works for a university. We both spend half the year with minor symptoms of someone's personal permutation of the current flu bug going around.

My 12 yr old boy/girl twins spread the plague faster than a 13th century London rat

They get the sniffles and bring it home, once it hits my body, it morphs into some bug that would keep the CDC in business for years  :lol
