Sling Shot Off CVs
« on: January 21, 2013, 05:04:15 PM »
using a little throttle to move backwards on a cv sometimes results in rapidly being thrown off the cv.  is this supposed to happen? i think i left my tail hook down the last time i was thrown off; other times im not sure.

Whether a bug or not, it's been happening forever. Just raise your hook once you've stopped, and then ease your way back.

...or just learn to land properly to catch a wire with the hook and you won't have to move backwards to rearm.  :devil

Even if catch a wire as soon as you power down and don't engage the brakes you get slung off the back of the CV.
