sweet ride......very cheap too....I know its a replica but you would think it would be way more than what they are asking for it.

I already have one waiting to be finished.

Some replicas are cheaper than others, for various reasons.  Some kits do not come with liners in the body shell, some kits use epoxy resin instead of vinylester, some kits body shell are paper thin while others are up to 1/2" thick, and so on.

Completed kits prices can range from $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.  It all depends on what you expect from the car.

Anyone looking to buy a completed kit needs to do their homework.  Sometimes a title cannot be transferred from one state to another, is there a parts list, assembly manual, is the manufacturer still in business, who built the drivetraiin, is it still in warranty, what custom options have been applied, what is the paint color and so on.

i know you've got one you're working on. i kinda figured you'd like seeing that. it's a good looking car.....'cept that it's red....but being a cobra makes it easy to overlook the color.

I am not crazy about red either.  A lot of guys are.  I like black, white, silver, or blue.

Mine is going to be a pearl (small) white (with a hint of blue) and a dark blue metallic stripe with a flanking pin stripe in silver.

A a licensed ham, kits are a part of the fun....until one is unable (due to physical disabilities) to build one.

My hat is off to all those who can still build!  DO IT WHILE YOU can because you do not know what down the road awaits.

I can still build simple quad, quagis and yagis for VHF and High band HF but even that time is limited and I need help for most all of the dimentions and soldering.

Do it while you are able!!!!  Enjoy it when you arent.
