Changeup when you going to be doing this again? I'm purdy much sick of the ma defend against the horde game play
I've missed the last couple of these because of wife or kid ack but I could sure use some practice/training to get ready for the upcoming tournament. is there anyone here willing to help me out with some dueling merges, stall fighting and such in a variety of planes?
With all the talk of fighting, a/c do's and do not's, pilots wanting to get better, talk of the old culture of knife-fighting, experimenting with different styles of fighting, which planes are "better", old vets returning (awesome BTW), egos settling down, retired vets talking about the old legends, challenges being given and a general renewed sense that 1 v 1s can make you better, real fast...it's time to "engage the mechanism".The "mechanism": Thursday and Friday (after FSO so you should be good and warmed up) nights at 11pm CST, the DA private field work outs...think of it as AH P90X workouts or AH Insanity Workouts. Here's how it works:Min of two people needed but as many as want to can participateCheck your ego at the doorFirst person to show up select a field that is 3K (the group can move to a higher field later if desired)Tune to VOX 268 (so you can talk with everyone fighting)Even up the sides at the private fieldChoose your plane, whatever load out you want to work onRoll The fight procedure is to call out on VOX to the first red dot you see with "vis on the <insert plane type here>" with your opponent responding "IN". Once your 1 v 1 engagement has begun, any other players will simply fly on by looking for their own, "IN"....just fun, group 1 v 1s. If the middle of the field gets busy, simply move to a less-busy part of the same private field....I promise a con will find you if you don't find him/her first.I looked at the video of the first one I invited myself to...Grizz, Ardy, Krup, Squat, Junky, SERaider, Dodger, Shuffler, Kappa, Sunbat, Hlbly, Sunsfan, TonyJoey, Scotch, Bipolar, Skyrock, and Creton. What a great time that was.You really see the difference in how you fly and others fly and these guys at least, would tell ya what you could do better and show you if you asked. Sweaty hands and the shakes after each fight...other people pushing you to try different merges, how to hold energy, working angles, flap-timing, throttle-work, rudder control. Great fun and lots of teaching.See you guys/gals there!!Changeup
see me on..... let me know......I will
cya soon and tnx
Damn man, I need to get back in the game again and start getting in on some of this stuff, I really miss a lot of it, especially the DA sessions with some of you guys. I think about my K4 more and more lately.
