CV Idea
« on: January 16, 2013, 11:39:58 AM »
:airplane: OK, see a lot posts concerning CV's and so forth. Here is an other idea, which I doubt would be installed in the game, but it would add another challenge to the game. How about when a CV has been hit hard, no radar, lot of guns out and etc, someone take command of the "boat", steer it back to its home port, dock it on the other side of the one already sitting at the port for looks, when damaged CV docks, jump into other CV sitting there, back it out and "ho", the ole tub is ready to go again! He, He, sounds good any way!!!
Blue Skies and wind at my back and wish that for all!!!

Odds are, the CV will repair itself LONG before it gets back to its home port.  IIRC, it takes about an hour for a CV to travel 25 miles (1 grid), so... it is actually better to disengage the fleet (if possible) and have it repair itself.   :aok
