agree with most of that except fester,

His streak obsession makes him overly timid and i've killed him several times in 1vs1 situations, so the best there is smacks of a little Muppet bias.  :(

DrBone and pervert deserve to be on that list.   But all fighters know one when they see one and every dog has it's day.

like I was saying to semp....MA flying really does not play a part in how I came up with the list.....

I assure you being a Muppet has nothing to do with it.... :salute

many of the guys on the list I don't agree with how they fly in the MA......(even if the are muppets)..but everyone will back it up....same as you.....

there is no way Fester would not go to DA if someone challenged him.......

thats my criteria....will you back it up......can you back it up....and how well you do when you do back it up......

I think the one thing that sticks out in my mind in AH is the almost perfect gunnery of a few players.  It seems they do not miss.  I'm know to play the odds in certain maneuvers and allow for a shot in order for the enemy fighter to expose themselves or allow me to set up my next move.  I'll never forget being at the right place at the right time (or so I thought) in a 190D-9 and barreling through a furball at 450mph TAS in hopes of roping one of the slow F4U's  but instead and having this Spit8 who was no doubt very low on E and not in position for a good shot stead up his plane and fire within a mili-second of him stalling out at the top of a loop and getting a nice burst via snap shot on my screaming Dora... from over 500 yards out.  After getting a PW, an oiled engine, an elevator shot off I was able to limp away and land safely. After viewing the film I saw who connected that amazing shot: some bloke named Broove, iirc.  :aok

I film most of my sorties and while I'm no ACM guru I can spot what is coming and do my best to plan ahead 1-2 moves, it is my gunnery that seems to hang me up.  I've missed some easy shots and once in a great while I will land hits on something seemingly impossible.

 :O I got a few honourable mentions!  :x

It's birthday and Christmas all in one :D

All of the best that I'd name have been already named.

thinking at short notice Top 3 1v1 from a few squads;

Spek, Jo, Bone
Krup, Grizz, Ink
Latrobe, Debrody, RedBull
Bruv, Perv, Kaz

Some people have given me a good kicking in the DA, but thier names elude me at the moment.

I consider someone a good fighter when they put up a tough fight, allied or enemy, regardless of what they are driving... air, sea, or land... with no regard as to whether I like them or not...

Moving around a bit here recently, I have had the opportunity to fly with some of them that I had previously only flown against. It's amazing how many players are really fun, good people... it's even more amazing how many of them absolutely loathe each other even though if they simply flew the same side/squad they'd probably be best friends.

A lot of these guys aren't forum potatos or loud mouths... some of them don't even tune 200 (the horror!), but they are the memorable pilots/drivers (that my ADD brain can currently conjure anyway)

So my list:

kvuo75 - unreal in a 37mm
BushLT - really good in an F6F
OddCAF - all around sea/air/land buttkicker
Pand - No better P-51B pilot out there, may be as good as 999000 in 17s
Tazz69 - If I had to pick a swiss army knife co-pilot/driver/gunner, he'd be my guy
Shadow - GREAT pilot
JETSOM - Absolute terror in a Ki-84
Cobia38 - A-20 King
Havoc - A-20 king
sc0tch - beats my bellybutton in whatever
Krupnski - Tater conservationist - fun DA fights (when I don't hit a tree/ground trying to stay as slow as he can stay)
Redbull - K4 King
who (hey, he's a lot better than me anyway - and when he doesn't HOmerge, it's a fun fight)
SQUAT - No better ally, no worse enemy (on 200 anyway) and a great stick
999000 - Amazing gunnery skills
DragonH5 (I think that is his name, haven't seen him in awhile) - One of the best buff killers I have run into
Triton28 - Great pilot
LilMak - P-47 King
IraqVet - Lives in GVs, causes much hate and discontent
AKPepprr - Great TnB pilot, Squeaker
AKFulcrm - Great stick
Doc72CH - Smart tactician, great bomber pilot
Zaphod - Great dogfighter, attacker, etc
Bruv119 - Amazing pilot all the way around, unreal accuracy
Toougly - Great flight lead, Whatever the job is, gets it done
Edmo - Awesome flight lead, whatever needs done he does
A8Prowlr - One of the best leaders in the game
ET37 - Was collecting social security before Redbull was born, still kicking tulips nightly <S>
DHawk - A more prolific base snagger there is not
Swoops - Best Kiwi Pilot in the game (just kidding Coombz, he's really an Aussie)
Changeup - Excellent pilot, the gold standard in sh*t disturbance and causer of hate and discontent
Zoney - Excellent buff killer
Snailman - Excellent buff killer, fount of knowledge
Magoo - Best wing leader I have had the pleasure to fly with
Paladin3 - Probably the guy I'd want with me if I really had to go to war (Quote: <NAME OMITTED>, TRAINING ARENA. NOW.)
Twinboom - Always feel better when I see him upping with me at a capped field - Amazing stick
Dolby - not JUST an awesome 109 pilot
vinkman - great fighter
latrobe - great fighter, one of my votes for best sportsman
nrshida - the most zen pilot in AH
nishizwa - possibly the most underrated pilot in the game (hint: dump girlfriend, quite job, fly moar!)
Dodger - Embarrasses me even when he's in a far inferior plane

Sure only a few would win (or have won) a KOTH, or pwnd every plane in the canyon, but these are some of the people that it would (to me at least) be a lesser game without.

That could be a title...I don't see it paying well though.  Would Squat work for me?  Could we hire Junky as a consultant cuz he's as good as I am at it.

I agree for the most part on your list,i would not put AKAK in it just because i never seen him win a fight at co or lower alt like i often run into with shuffler or some other 38 sticks.I put Mntman at the top of my list ,SkyRock seems to out fly me pretty easy ATM.I won a stall fight against scotch the other night in 109's ,so you can add me to your list.... j/k!!  :neener:
(EDIT) After thinking about my AKAK statement i would like to add i have fought him in 1 vs 1 fight about 0 times in the past 4 years ,so i could be very wrong.

Sorry but I disagree.  ACK was at 2K and I was on the deck in a Zeke and the fight lasted 3 mins.  My Zeke was missing an elevator and the starboard aileron but we all know that doesn't remove it's turning advantage on a 38.   No BnZ at all.  He turned it on the deck ...... And he wasn't around when I got beat up so he had no idea I wasn't in one piece

He flies it just fine.  He just prefers to fly the plane to its advantages.  I have no issue with that because he fights.

I need to start flying more. All of these old names I can remember. Too bad some don't play anymore. Maybe I ought to dust off the ole 234 and see how many times I can be called a hacker LOL. I get an itch to play every so often.

Funny to hear the words Fighters,Fight,Fought in the cartoon world.

Especially since I've surrounded myself in the world of Boxing while living in Philippines for past 2 years.
