First ride..........68 Volkswagen Bug. Proudest day of my life, when I equipped it with a 8-Track. $3.00 to fill the tank and got over 35 mpg, the tunes sounded as good as Vinyl.(ignoring the lapse between tracks)

LOL, those were the days!

I drove a Buddies Grand National once.....I must say it was fast of the line.......but at the time I was driving around a 79 trans Am..that had a Chevy 350 in it that was built....I don't remember the specs.... but that trans am smoked the crap outta the Grand National.... :D

ahhhh those where the days.... :t
the grand nationals were amazing cars.....for a v6. other than that, they weren't anything special. they were somewhat easy to beat.....easier if ya caught em hot. the GNX on the other hand was a monster. but it too could be beaten fairly easily, if you got em to race ya when they were hot.  :devil

Shoot ink I had to put traction bar's on my 72 firebird after I put that 455 in it with header's stock and it pull the wheels about a foot off the ground . I had big boss 50's on back to , that helped .

What was your city of birth and mother's maiden name?

its my humble opinion to just buy brighter bulbs from autozone or something. Don't waste your time with Halo light.

I went ahead and pulled the bumper off of my Cruze and replaced the factory headlights with halos/projectors.  The difference it made was astounding.  The wiring was pretty easy if you know what adapter to get, and wire the LED/HALOs to the marker light circuit.

I agree CAP, that they do make you stand out more.  IMO, that's the point of doing something like this.

My take on it....  If you like it, do it.

Stock

Add some tint.

Yeah, taking the bumper off is a bit of a PITA, but not really that difficult.

Install the HALOs/projectors.

Enjoy...

I've always liked to give my car a bit of personality.

Nothing quite like your first car....

Mine was a loaded 1976 2dr Chrysler Newport...400 cid, white with a black vinly top, had about 80k on it (which was alot on mid-70's domestic cars).  It was a big boat, handled like a big boat, rode like a big boat, at full throttle it just got louder and belched a cloud of reddish smoke along with big boat acceleration, got about 8 mpg.  But I was proud as can be of it....and it had the interior room of a big boat... ;)
