Can't get into arena

Still Trying to Get In about 99 to 102 in it now, it has been slow going picking up 1 new entry each time I retry according to Roster Numbers

this is bull.... I pay money for this game to not have these problems... been trying for 30 min, totally missed any practice with squad, no idea whats going on, so if I do get in ill be lost

Have tried restarting and everything else posted so far... still no luck.

and I was really looking forward to getting in an FSO for the first time in like 6 months...

EDIT: after over 30 mins of trying it's finally downloading.

this is what worked for me... I deleted everything in the file the italy file is suppose to be in, then went to hitechs site and downloaded italy terrain, then tried going in arena, didnt work, so i closed ACES and opened folder and deleted italy file, then got on aces and it worked!!!!

Over 200 people in now so it's working (just) keep patient and perhaps a small dance naked while striking yourself with nettles dipped in ashes might do it.

(If not, you just can't be doing it right! Right?)

Well several of the download ports held the new skinpack. Which left the majority of the players to bounce.

 Also there was a glitch with the old Italy map. Several AK's had the terrain already but the server forced the download of it all over again.

Took me 31 tries after deleting Italy.res and restarting ... but it worked eventually ... THAT was a weird conflict

I got in just as fields closed, very annoying. A 1/2 hour delay to the start considering the circumstances would have been nice.

The start was delayed 10 mins.  Fields closed at T +15 for discos but if you would have contacted me, I would have let you up.  Combat was at T+ 39 which was almost 50 mins after regular start time.  Regardless of the time, the bombers needed gunners.

We will be reporting this issue to Skuzzy tomorrow since we believe it is a server issue or code issue. Italy terrain has been used before and is 2 years old and hasn't had this issue. Plus, over in the other arena was having similiar issues with Big Ocean (which is also old and has not been updated in the past several months). So need to have HTC to look into why the terrains hit a glitch downloading. Will get back to everyone once it is figured out and resolved.
