My most memorable experience was watching a squadron of P51s dive through a group of friendly 109s at 7k to try and kill me near the deck. Fortunately for me, none of them had throttles that had any setting below the firewall setting. I'm partially at fault too, I enjoy fighting most 38 drivers. You know you're in for a good scrap when you see a 38G or 38J, but much less so with the 38L.
The thing about winning is the setup. . . .Take your time, pick the fight at the right moment and think two steps ahead. . . .
Yeah well if you're gonna be flyin a 38 you'll have to get used to that whole flying around like you have a pork chop tied to your neck with a pack of hungry wild dogs thing. Guys will blow off 3 or 4 other guys JUST to get to a 38 first!
Wow, you guys need help.
yep when I get close enough to see the letter and it is one of these (in bold)there is an involuntary, audible, "fudpucker" that leaves my lips... when I see the L...I think NomNomNom... sometimes though it's Pawz... then when I die Pawz runs through my head before the name comes up in the text buffer followed by a "fudpuker" edited audible word for family use

lol. You'll be pleased to know that Pawz is flying the G now.
