Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

I have cleaned up this thread of some ugliness that was interjected into it and any references to that.  Please keep all further posts in this thread to which it was intended.  I'll take care of the rest.

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

It was always a blast to fly with dell on his 1-2 hour bomber runs, had the privilege many times to tag along as a gunner or even as a second bombefartr formation. I learned everything about bombing from that old fart, I will truly miss that guy. FYI for anyone still following this unclkurt will need all of us to be there for him... if anything I believe he and dell were like brothers wether it was them walking the woods hunting together it kentucky or all of us hanging out together at the get together at kurts place. We all loved you dell and still do, you're in a better place now. <<S>>  :frown:
