Bad troll is bad.

P-11 was never a production plane nor did it serve in WW2. 3 were built and subsequently converted to OTHER model types shortly after being built. The P-11 never existed.

EDIT: I know you were thinking of the P-6 Hawk, but I'll cut off any replies here by saying it was a 1927 design, only some 40-odd were built, and between 1932 and 1937 those were only at 2 airfields in the US. They lost half their lot in accidents and the rest were flown til they wore out then scrapped.

It most definitely wasn't a WW2 aircraft, and it never saw combat.

PZL P.11

From wikipedia:
Quote
At dawn on 1 September, Capt. Mieczysław Medwecki flying a PZL P.11c was shot down by Rottenführer (Foreman Leader) Leutnant Frank Neubert of I./StG 2 (Stuka), having the dubious honour of becoming the first aircraft shot down in the Second World War. The first Allied air victory was achieved 20 minutes later by Medwecki's wingman, Wladyslaw Gnys who shot down two Dornier Do 17s with his P.11c.

That PZL makes a big difference. Mustn't leave it out!

P.S. The PZLs were almost entirely wiped out in 1939... Not sure they ever saw the 1940-era He-111H-3 that we appear to be getting (unless it's a later model we're getting). If they saw He-111s, they would probably be earlier models. Ps were the more common while Hs were just coming into the scene. Do-17Es and Zs were more likely. Ju87Bs most definitely.
