Message in-game about video memory
« on: February 25, 2013, 08:42:57 AM »
When I landed last night I received a message I've never had. I was unable to save it, as it soon disappeared below new messages. It was essentially "Your video storage is full, etc, etc, etc."

In three years I've never had this message. And I should add I was not recording my flight, so I was not creating or saving video. What does this mean? What should I do? Is it a sign my video card is going bad?

Check all the folders in Aces High.  The game is always doing file updates.  The message indicates a potentially full folder which will start resulting in all manner of game stability problems if it is not rectified.  Typically, the films folder has too many files in it.  Simply rename that folder and let the game start a new one.

So I need to find the folder that is titled "film" and rename it to "film2" or something, create a new folder titled "film" and I am set?

I'll let you know how this works. Thanks!

The game will create the folder for you.
