Breaking the Gustav Line: Shingle to Diadem - Final Scores
« on: February 24, 2013, 03:22:42 PM »
FRAME 1 AIR TO AIR SCORES AND OBJECTIVES:

ALLIED: 855
(743 + 100 (FRAME 1 ACE MISSION) + 12 Points for Axis violating C.205 Max (6 Over Max))
AXIS: 1072

AXIS VICTORY

FRAME 2 AIR TO AIR SCORES AND OBJECTIVES:

ALLIED: 963 (943 + 20 Points for for Axis Violating C.205 Max (10 Over Max))
AXIS: 1313

AXIS VICTORY

FRAME 3 AIR TO AIR SCORES AND OBJECTIVES:

ALLIED: 920 (878 + 40 (FRAME 3 ACE MISSION) + 2 Points for violating Fw 190F-8 Max (1 Over Max))
AXIS: 1052  (1012 + 40 (FRAME 3 ACE MISSION))

AXIS VICTORY

As you may notice, the Axis had a hard time of keeping within the Max Numbers for some aircraft (C.205) and incurred minor penalties where I counted every aircraft over as lost. Please be mindful of the Max numbers for certain rides pilots, I would hate to penalize a side out of a victory because they used to many of a certain aircraft.

I hope everyone had a good time, I will see you all again in June. Thanks for participating! <S>

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Very fun setup, Mediterranean always is especially mid war Italy.

However (oh here we go you're thinking), compared to the original Breaking Gustav this setup was lacking. The Allies were overwhelmed due to the lack of dominant aircraft. We had A-5's and C.205's. Juicy Spits and P-40s just cant handle them. This plane set was very lopsided in my opinion and I think the casual and very easy Axis victory proves that point. The first Breaking Gustav gave the Allies P-47D-11's and B-26's. This setup gave them Boston's and A-20's. To this day Breaking Gustav 2010 is one of my favorite and most balanced FSO setups. I was very excited when I saw this setup...until I saw the plane set.

I suggest going back to the old Breaking Gustav or adding the B-26, P-47D-11 and drop the Boston's.

Fun FSO nonetheless. KN had fun and did well. Now, I have a train to catch heading for the Big Red Dog's backyard.
