Something about shooting a bomber on the ground where the simulation does not allow them to shoot back seems wrong.

After getting pounded several times trying to take off, I returned the favor by blasting a red taking off at their home base.  It felt cheap but that is just me.

I know runway shots are and should be part of the simulation so those that do that I have no problem as it was real war.  Well unless it is me they shoot at, 

If bombers can be shot on the ground,  they should be able to shoot back.  Probably needs to be another thread.

If bombers can be shot on the ground,  they should be able to shoot back.  Probably needs to be another thread.

I was thinking about possible reasons why they can't shoot back... Is it so people don't up bombers and sit on the runway when all the ack and GV hangars are down?

Any bomber that dare bomb strats is fair game for a NOE vulch at landing.

I do all I can to make sure strat runners (and especially milk runners) don't make it home.

Probably because most people fly the 163 right up the low six, miss with almost every round and then run out of gas, right before you drill them.
