Add More Radar Towers

With the new bomber achievement system, bases with a single radar tower means one radar tower as a target.  Each base has multiple hangars, fuel, ammo, troops and gun emplacements.

To be fair, the bases should be updated with at least 2 radars for V-bases, Ports and Small Airfields.  3 radars for Medium and Large Airfields.

When all radar towers are down, then radar is down for that base.

Nah... In WW2 the towers could be reconstructed in a week (in WW2 times that's pretty darned fast!), but could by taken down by simply bombing the control shack that got signals from the towers.

In AH the tower and the shack are one and the same. I think it's one of the few useful things you can bomb in the game to help your country on any given front. Asking for more per field is just a cop-out way of whining that you don't like it when you lose your dar.

If anything, I think bomber formations should show up at 2x or 3x dar range, as a "V" wedge in the direction they're flying. Other than that I think it's fine as it is.

Sounds like a wish to add extra targets to make gaining acheivements easier. .
If anything the ord bunkers should be hardened and fighter hangers softened. After all, a 500lb HE bomb through the roof of a wriggly tin hangar and detonating amongst planes, ammo and fuel would effectively put it out of action. I do however understand the hardness requirement for gameplay reasons.

My view is that tower based radar would show dots at twice the range that is seen from the clipboard in the ac....... formations should attempt to render 3 dots...made clearer when zoomed in.

Actually I would prefer to see a single tower (12 miles range) at small airfields and v-bases, 2 towers at medium fields (18-miles range), and 4-towers at large airfields (24 miles range).   Bigger and more important bases should get the best radars available.   It is OK if the radar ranges overlap.  The country strats (you know - that radar thingy with all those towers) should get a LARGE radar coverage circle from that (48 miles?) - with that much coverage, you will be able to up and intercept incoming strat raiders and get better intercepting fighters vs bombers and escorts fights.
