Icon color loss
« on: March 07, 2013, 05:55:28 PM »
I bought a new system, and its a big improvement over what I was using...A laptop... But I have one issue, I loose Icon, frame rate and bombsite color. All icons around me turn from their color, red or green to white :frown: I have to head the icon to determine friend or foe...

I am going to guess the laptop has an Intel mobile video chip.  That is a very low end video display device.  There are simply things it cannot do.

Thanks for responding Skuzzy. I'm no longer using the laptop. I now have a new desk top form Dell, an Insp 660s etc. The only problem I ever had using the laptop was an avg frame rate of 10-16 and around 5 in a furball. The new system works great except, the color bleeds out of the Icons, the frame rate data, and my bomb site data??

A DXDIAG output would be helpful.
